Shenanigans

Greetings fellow gamers and a warm welcome to our beautiful new site! Jules has been frantically and industriously crafting these very pages to what I'm sure you will agree is an excellent standard. You now have access to all the sections at the click of a button, with each of our games now having their own separate page and a new web comic which we hope to update fairly regularly (meaning of course chaotically randomly). We hope to add a forum sometime soon for all your colourful comments and discussions on all things FPS or indeed all else. Have fun navigating around!

The demo for Flight is slowly making its way across the web, permeating the souls of all that encounter its delectable relaxing vibes. If you haven't already done so, we do implore you to redeem all your sins and live a happier life by downloading it from our main page - gaming redemption is a convenient click away! You will of course also find all the details and developments on The Elder, our upcoming tribal platformer which we will be concentrating immensely upon as soon as Flight goes gold, along with an as yet untitled future project that is still very much in the nurturing stage but suffice to say will concentrate very heavily on improvisational audio.

With regards to Flight, the full game is technically finished: all that needs to be done now is the compilation of the various elements the game is comprised of into the final product. The demo has been updated slightly with more effective optimal settings and improved multi sampling. An amazing unforeseen turn of events has occurred involving - shock - absolutely fault free new ATI drivers, a good sign for the future from both our point of view and you gamers who have ATI hardware which has caused significant trouble in the past for us but now, hopefully, will be more stable when it comes to supporting the graphical features that it is supposed to (not a lot to ask really).

Jules and Rich have been hammering away at the animatory content for their external advertising project and Andrea continues dutifully and methodically crafting the level layouts for The Elder. Looking back at the tracks for Flight we realised that some of them needed more purpose behind them and so I have been going over thee layout and instrumental structure of each track in order to add that little bit of depth that makes all the difference. Times are tough at the office but as long as we have coffee we're all holding up and with our first project coming to a close things should start shaping up excellently soon enough. Check out our new Floating Point Studios Facebook group which is linked at the top right of our main page where you can check out game details and coverage of any developments. This has been our weekly update and thanks for reading!
